Four leading flat-rolled aluminium manufacturers and members of the European Aluminium Packaging Group (EAPG), Constellium, Elval, Novelis and Speira, have signed an agreement to engage in a standardisation project to maximise the recycled content levels of the beverage can and thus substantially lower carbon emissions, focused on increased recyclability of the can end.

European Aluminium urges EU policymakers to take into account the European aluminium industry’s concerns in the negotiations of trade agreements, with particular attention to the EU-India Free Trade Agreement.

European Aluminium is pleased to present this note on the upcoming 14-15 March 2024 BREF workshop in German Environment Agency, in Dessau-Roßlau, focusing on the BREF-Sevilla Process.
