With the new “HITZESCHUTZ kompakt” package, the company is giving safety professionals a tool with which they can provide maximum safety for their colleagues at workplaces exposed to heat. The concept, which is unique in the industry, combines a detailed analysis of the current situation with concrete recommendations for individual personal protective equipment.
Hot workplaces – for example in the aluminium industries – require individual solutions, because each workplace poses different challenges for personal protective equipment (PPE). In daily practice, safety professionals in this field have to comply with a large number of complex regulations and laws.
With “HITZESCHUTZ kompakt”, JUTEC provides its customers with a package of concrete measures that are individually tailored to each workplace. It includes an action plan that covers all steps from the analysis of the situation at the respective workplace to certification in accordance with the PPE Protection ordinance.
JUTEC’s experts accompany the selection process in five steps:
Stephan Muscheites, sales manager at JUTEC, knows the situation of the practitioners: “We know that safety professionals are constantly confronted with new directives from different areas. And heat workplaces are only a small part of this. That is why we have developed “HITZESCHUTZ kompakt”: With a structured process and the final certification, our customers are sure that the PPE regulation for heat-exposed work is complied with and that employees work safely on site.”
Founded in 1987, JUTEC GmbH has to date developed more than 18,000 different products for heat protection, insulation technology and protection against laser beams and is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers in this field. Solutions from JUTEC are used at ambient and material temperatures from 200 to 4,000 °C.
More than 100 employees develop and manufacture individual and tailor-made solutions according to customer requirements at the company headquarters in Rastede, Lower Saxony – and only there. JUTEC uses its self-developed, certified material combinations, which are tested and certified by independent testing institutes, as base materials.
The company supplies customers in over 80 countries. It is certified in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, in addition to production in accordance with Module D of the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and Module D of Directive 2014/90/EU for marine equipment.
